Animals in their natural habitats
A trip to the Natural History Museum!
What I liked best was the dioramas, with realistic life-sized animals before a painted background of their habitat. These are North American Mammals.

That is actually a live Emperor Scorpion :O

Now, the Hall of African Mammals.

And last, a few gems (literally 😉 ) from the Gem and Mineral section of the museum.

This is a mammoth from the nearby Tar Pits museum.

And a family of Saber-toothed Tigers, from the same place.

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.

Here’s a post I did on a visit to the Natural History Museum a few weeks back. It was so neat to see the animals as they lived with no human interference. Just them in the places God provided for them.
